Regatta Furniture Website & Online Marketing
Intro:
Regatta is one of South East England's largest distributors of garden furniture, barbecues and accessories. With an extensive product range and four regional stores Resolution Creative was approached to create a strong online brand and e-commerce solution with the purpose of increasing brand awareness and increased sales.
Concept:
The goal of the project was to increase exposure of Regatta's new website within key geo-located area's in the South East, which, in turn would work hand in hand with a proposed SEO campaign following completion.
The e-commerce solution had to be clear and concise allowing users on multiple platforms to buy in confidence, quickly and easily through a secure payment gateway.
Administration of the store had to be integrated with the physical stores so that all stock levels, purchases and invoicing were to be dealt with in real time to avoid any confusion.
Process:
Following the success of the concept, architecture, strategy and design stages it was important throughout the development to be concious of the existing e-commerce platform in place. We ensured the new project was implemented in multiple phases so as not to have any adverse effect with any SEO, social media and online marketing that had previously been put in place.
Following the successful migration of the new framework and e-commerce platform we were able to put in place an extensive SEO and online marketing campaign to along with the automated facilitation of existing products to ensure that they were always at their most competitive.
Result:
As a result, 2011 has been Regatta's busiest year on record with online sales up over 500% and additionally with web traffic up 238% to date on the year previous creating a very impressive first year ROI.
